A Space for Family in Cranford, NJ
This project included a kitchen with plenty of counter space and a dining room fit for family.
Project Details
When my client first contacted me, she thought all she needed was some family room furniture. What she got was an advocate for what she needed in her home. A contractor had already demoed her Kitchen & Dining Room and when I arrived for our first paid appointment, it was a mess.
Upon review of her architect’s plans, we discovered design elements planned that wasn’t meeting her needs. Lucky for us, she had not yet ordered the cabinets!
We worked together to create her dream kitchen with plenty of counter and pantry space. The Wet Bar area in the Dining Room brings in playful colors with great functionality. The star of the kitchen is a large island for everyone to gather around.
She had this beautiful handmade decorative tile from Europe which is featured over the cooktop. I was able to custom color the field tile to match the green in the tile.
This is why design is so special to me, it’s personal and meaningful.
